Angela is a free lance food and fiction writer. Her articles have been published in various online and print magazines such as Delicious, Platinum , Potluck zine, Gal-dem, Time & Leisure, Mothertonguetv.com and Marmalade & Kindness. She writes regular restaurant reviews for Time & Leisure, a local magazine that covers South West London and Surrey.
Her short story, Love, Loss & Recipes was published in the online literary magazine The Other Side of Hope and has been nominated for a Best of the Net award.
She is a member of the Guild of Food Writers.
She writes articles in a personal essay style on our emotional connection to food. Many of her food stories come from, or are inspired by, her childhood in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war. Through cooking Lebanese food in London, she has found a way to strengthen her cultural connection to her roots and pass on her heritage to her children.
